March News & Easter In-Store Inspo – Talking Tables UK Trade

March News & Easter In-Store Inspo

Posted by on

In March we've seen our independent stores going big with Easter, and celebrating the first weeks of spring... even if they have been rather wet.

It was also the month we celebrated B Corp Month. As a proud B Corp, we were keen to team up with other members of the community to celebrate doing business for good.

This included with Y.O.U underwear, who curated a number of B Corp brands - including ours - into a display in their Oxford shop.

B Corp Month has proved a great point of difference to talk about what sets our business apart, and enables Talking Tables to resonate more deeply with both our trade partners and end users.

If You've Got It, Flaunt It...

This month also saw our team hand delivering one of our brand new Celebration Station POS units to our newest independent retailer, Bakers & Larners of Holt, in Norfolk.

This stylish new three-sided display unit allows stockists to show off a large variety of our products, using a combination of shelving and peg boards.

In addition to our two napkin spinners and variety of counter-top display units, we are building out a menu of merchandising options to cater to our retailers' needs - big or small.

Bakers & Larners of Holt

Tim Hollis, retail brand development manager at Talking Tables, said he was "thrilled" about the new partnership.

"It's fantastic to be supplying Bakers & Larners of Holt as they continue their exciting product repositioning journey," he said.

"We travelled up and installed one of our new merchandising units in-store and had a wonderful welcome from the team. They gave us a full tour of their amazing store - which is over 250 years old."

In addition, Tim urged stockists to get in touch for more information on in-store merchandising solutions we can offer.

Hopping Mad

In terms of our Easter lines, unsurprisingly anything bunny-related has been an absolute hit. The bunny baskets and Pierre napkins have been key sellers across this year's range.

Our table top felt bunnies have also gone down well this season, with stockists and social media influencers alike taking a real shine to them.

Beautiful and colourful displays showing them off to their best came from Quince & Cook in Perth, as well as Love One in Ipswich.

Alongside Easter, our brand new glassware range has been making a welcome appearance with a number of you - and looks set to be one of our most popular SKUs for SS24. We've had a lot of press interest in them, and the response on social media has also been incredibly positive.

RHS Wisley

RHS Wisley feature them strongly and Yarnton Home & Garden have done a brilliant job merchandising them as one of their key lifestyle products for SS24.

Birthday Compliments

Elsewhere, we've seen many of you stocking up on birthday continuity lines and tidying up displays - including Seaford Post Office in East Sussex, who were keen to promote our B Corp status, so we helped with customised display materials.

We love seeing your incredible displays and how inventive you are when it comes to creative and beautiful product merchandising. Make sure to tag us on social media - or send through some images so we can help amplify your hard work.
